TikTok Shop Affiliate France and Europe 2026: Live Countries, Creator Rules and How Sellers Recruit Affiliates

TikTok Shop affiliate France and the rest of Europe, checked against TikTok’s own pages in October 2026: which countries have TikTok Shop, how open and target collaborations work, what sellers pay, who qualifies as an affiliate creator, when a TikTok Shop agency is worth it, and how creators should handle commission deals.

TikTok Shop affiliate France and Europe 2026: live countries, creator eligibility and seller commission
TikTok Shop in Europe as of October 2026: ten markets with confirmed launch dates, a 500-follower creator minimum and seller-set affiliate commissions.
Key takeaways
  • TikTok Shop launched in France on 31 March 2025, the same day as Germany and Italy; as of October 2026 it is also live in the UK, Spain, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.
  • TikTok’s official creator pages for France and most other European markets set the same affiliate bar: be 18 or older, have more than 500 followers and pass an account risk evaluation.
  • Sellers choose between open collaboration (any eligible affiliate can promote the product) and target collaboration (invited creators, custom commission), and pay the commission only when a sale happens.
  • The affiliate commission comes on top of TikTok’s own seller commission, reported at 9% in the UK since September 2024 and in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland since January 2026.
  • A TikTok Shop agency earns its fee when you need LIVE production, ads and shop operations across several countries; for a handful of products, recruiting affiliates yourself in Seller Center is usually enough.

TL;DR: TikTok Shop affiliate France and Europe in October 2026

Here is the short version of TikTok Shop affiliate France and the rest of Europe, checked against TikTok’s own seller and creator pages in October 2026. TikTok Shop has been live in France since 31 March 2025. The affiliate programme lets sellers pay creators a commission on each sale their videos or LIVEs drive, and the creator bar in France is low: 18 or older, more than 500 followers, and a pass on TikTok’s account risk evaluation. Sellers set the commission themselves and pay it only when someone buys.

Outside France, TikTok Shop is live in the UK, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. The rules for creators are nearly identical across these markets. What changes from country to country is market size, the seller commission TikTok charges, and the advertising-label law that applies to the video. This guide is written for both sides: sellers and brands recruiting affiliate creators, and creators deciding whether TikTok Shop commissions are worth their time.

Which European countries have TikTok Shop as of October 2026?

TikTok Shop runs in ten European markets with a confirmed launch date. The UK came first in 2021, Spain and Ireland followed at the end of 2024, France, Germany and Italy opened on 31 March 2025, and Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland launched on 15 June 2026, according to Ecommerce News Europe and TechCrunch. The table separates what TikTok states on its own pages from what comes from trade press, because the two do not always match.

Sources for the table: the country seller portals at seller.tiktok.com (the Europe region selector lists the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium), the country creator pages such as business.tiktokshop.com/fr/creator, and Ecommerce News Europe on the UK fee rise and the EU fee rise. The EU rise also brought a 7% rate in some sub-categories such as electronics and a 4% rate for up to 60 days for new sellers. Seller commission rates move often, so confirm yours in Seller Center before you price anything.

Two details matter for cross-border sellers. First, TikTok’s seller FAQ says sellers registered in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain “can sell across 13 European countries”, but it does not name all 13. TikTok also publishes creator pages for Czechia, Greece, Hungary and Portugal, which suggests they are among them, but I found no TikTok page confirming launch dates there, so they are not in the table. Second, the markets are very different sizes. ECDB data reported by Ecommerce News Europe on 5 October 2026 puts the UK at 65% of European TikTok Shop spending in 2025 (€2.63bn GMV), Spain at about €570m (14%), France at €360m (9%), Germany at €350m (9%) and Italy at €150m (4%).

How does the TikTok Shop affiliate programme work for sellers?

The TikTok Shop affiliate programme is a commission-only channel: a seller lists products, sets a commission, and pays it only when a creator’s video or LIVE produces a sale. TikTok’s official affiliate page puts it as “only pay when a sale is made”, with commission paid automatically. You start from Seller Centre, under Affiliate, then Get Started.

There are two ways to set up a collaboration:

  • Open collaboration. Every eligible affiliate creator can find the product and start promoting it. You set the commission in advance, and you can still restrict the offer to creators you approve. This is the low-effort route and the usual starting point for a new shop.
  • Target collaboration. You pick specific creators, invite them, and set a custom commission for each creator or campaign. This is how you work with the creators who actually fit your brand rather than whoever picks the product up.

According to Shopify’s TikTok affiliate guide (updated 27 August 2026), commission can be set anywhere between 1% and 80%, and TikTok can suggest a rate based on the top-performing products in your category over the previous 30 days. Check the bounds that apply to your own Seller Center, since Shopify does not split them out by country.

Remember that the affiliate commission is a second deduction. On a €40 product with a 9% TikTok seller commission and a 15% affiliate commission, TikTok takes €3.60, the creator gets €6.00, and you keep €30.40 before product cost, shipping, VAT and any other fees (simplified: both percentages applied to the same price). Our TikTok Shop fee calculator runs this split for you: pick UK or EU (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland) in its market selector to apply the 9% rate, or US for 6%.

What does TikTok Shop affiliate France look like for sellers and creators?

TikTok Shop affiliate France runs on the same mechanics as the rest of Europe, with three local specifics: the launch date, the fee schedule and the French advertising-label law. TikTok Shop opened to French users on 31 March 2025. TechCrunch reported the launch on Thursday 27 March 2025, quoting Jan Wilk, head of operations at TikTok Shop UK, that the shop “will be available to our TikTok users from next Monday”.

For sellers in France. The French seller portal at seller.tiktok.com/fr advertises no registration fee and new-seller rewards of up to €300 (checked October 2026). You do not need a registered company: individuals can sign up as a “vendeur individuel”, while auto-entrepreneurs and companies register with their official business details. Since 8 January 2026 the standard seller commission in France has been 9%, up from 5%, with 7% in some sub-categories and 4% for up to 60 days for new sellers, per Ecommerce News Europe. France was a €360m TikTok Shop market in 2025, roughly level with Germany and well behind the UK and Spain.

For creators in France. TikTok’s French creator page lists four conditions: respect the Community Guidelines, be at least 18 (“Avoir au moins 18 ans”), have more than 500 followers (“Avoir plus de 500 abonnés”) and pass the account risk evaluation.

The label. Loi n° 2023-451 du 9 juin 2023 requires commercial influence to carry the mention « Publicité » or « Collaboration commerciale ». The law covers promotion done for consideration (“à titre onéreux”), and a sales commission is consideration, so the safe reading is that a commission-paid TikTok Shop video needs the label just like a paid post. Our EU ad disclosure rules by country guide has the wording for the other markets in the table.

Who can become a TikTok Shop affiliate creator in Europe?

A TikTok Shop affiliate creator in Europe needs to be 18 or older, have 500 followers, follow TikTok’s Community Guidelines and pass an account risk evaluation, according to TikTok’s country creator pages checked in October 2026. The wording varies slightly: the UK and German pages say “minimum of 500”, while the French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Belgian, Polish and Austrian pages say “more than 500”. The bar is lower than in the US, where Shopify reports a 1,000-follower minimum.

Three things on TikTok’s UK creator page are worth knowing before you apply:

  • New creators start in a Pilot Programme with temporary weekly limits on how many shoppable videos and LIVEs they can post. The limits lift as your following grows.
  • Samples are tiered. Beginners can use refundable samples or link products they already own through search by image. Free sample requests unlock as you grow.
  • Three ways to find work. The Product Marketplace (browse and promote anything open), creator campaigns, and Collab Invites from brands that pick you directly.

One gap: Ireland has TikTok Shop and a seller portal, but TikTok’s Irish creator URL returned a 404 when I checked, so Irish creators should confirm eligibility inside the TikTok app rather than rely on the UK page.

Whichever side you're on, Collabios connects you: brands hire verified creators, creators get paid per collaboration.

How do sellers find TikTok Shop affiliate creators?

Sellers find TikTok Shop affiliate creators in four ways: wait for them through open collaboration, invite them through target collaboration, win them with samples, or hire them outside TikTok Shop for a fixed fee. Most shops end up using more than one.

  • Open collaboration. List the product with a commission and let creators come to you. It costs nothing until a sale, but you do not control who posts or when.
  • Find Creators in Seller Center. Shopify describes a Find Creators page where you filter creators and send target-collaboration invites with a custom rate. This is the route for creators whose audience matches your product.
  • Samples. Free samples are often what gets a creator to try a new product. Shopify mentions a 1–100 Creator Sample Score to help decide who gets one, and reminders you can send to creators who received a product at least five days ago without posting.
  • Fixed-fee content outside TikTok Shop. Some creators will not work on commission alone, especially for a brand nobody has heard of. Paying a flat fee for a video and adding a commission on top is a common compromise.

Before you invite anyone, check three things on the creator’s profile: whether they already sell products in your category through TikTok Shop, whether their audience speaks the language of the country you ship to, and whether TikTok Shop is live there at all. A Polish creator with a strong Polish audience is a good fit for a shop selling into Poland since June 2026, and a poor fit for one selling only in Spain.

Collabios covers the fourth route: brands from any country can browse TikTok creators in 26 European countries and book them at the price listed on their profile, which suits sellers who want a guaranteed video rather than waiting for an affiliate to pick the product up. Collabios is not connected to TikTok Shop, so the commission link itself is still set up in Seller Center.

When does a seller need a TikTok Shop agency instead of recruiting affiliates directly?

A seller needs a TikTok Shop agency when the work goes beyond recruiting affiliates: running LIVE shopping, managing ads, keeping stock and listings in order, and doing all of it in several countries at once. If you sell a handful of products in one market, recruiting affiliates yourself in Seller Center is usually enough.

TikTok runs an official TikTok Shop Partner programme with two tracks: TikTok Shop Partners, which provide e-commerce services to sellers, and Talent Agencies, which support creators. The seller-side case studies on that page describe account management covering video, LIVE strategy, ad performance and stock monitoring, which is a wider job than affiliate recruitment. That is also why “TikTok Shop agency” can mean two things in search: a shop-operations agency, or a paid-ads agency. Ask which one you are talking to.

RouteHow creators are paidWho does the recruitingWhat you pay on top of TikTok’s seller commissionFits when

If you do hire an agency, ask four questions first: is it a listed TikTok Shop Partner, which of the countries in the table above does it actually operate in, who keeps the creator relationships when the contract ends, and do you get the raw sales data or only a dashboard. Our TikTok influencer marketing agency guide covers the agency side for non-Shop campaigns, and in-house vs agency affiliate programs walks through the build-or-buy decision in more detail.

Whichever side you're on, Collabios connects you: brands hire verified creators, creators get paid per collaboration.

How should creators approach TikTok Shop affiliate deals?

Creators should treat TikTok Shop commissions as one income line, not the whole deal: open-collaboration commission pays only when viewers buy, so it suits products you would talk about anyway, while targeted work for a brand deserves a conversation about a flat fee as well. Here is how I would think about it from the creator side.

  • Do the per-sale maths before you film. Your earning per sale is the price times your commission. A 15% commission on a €20 product is €3.00, so you need a lot of sales to cover an afternoon of filming. Run the brand’s numbers in the fee calculator too: if the seller is left with almost nothing, the campaign will not last.
  • Ask for a flat fee when the brand wants guarantees. If a brand wants a fixed posting date, a script, usage rights or a LIVE slot, that is paid content with a commission on top, not pure affiliate work. Our influencer rate card guide covers how to price it.
  • Label every commission video. In France that means « Publicité » or « Collaboration commerciale ». In the UK the ASA’s affiliate guidance says affiliate posts must be identifiable as ads upfront, for example with “Ad”, and that the word “affiliate” on its own is not clear enough.
  • Pick products that sell where your audience lives. If your followers are mostly in a country without TikTok Shop, open-collaboration commission will be thin however good the video is.

On Collabios, creators in 26 European countries list fixed-price TikTok packages and keep 85% of each order after the flat 15% creator fee, which gives you a paid-content income line next to your TikTok Shop commissions; you can create a creator profile for free.

What would I check first if I were launching TikTok Shop affiliates in Europe?

The first thing I would check is whether TikTok Shop is live for shoppers in the country where the creator’s audience lives, because a great video sells nothing into a market where the shop is not open. After that, the order of work is the same for sellers and creators: confirm the seller commission in Seller Center, decide the affiliate commission with the fee maths in front of you, and agree the advertising label before anything is filmed.

I run Collabios, a marketplace where brands from anywhere book creators in Europe at listed prices. Nothing in this guide is a Collabios case study. Every number above comes from TikTok’s own pages or the trade press linked next to it, with the date I checked it. TikTok Shop changes its fees and country list often, so if you are reading this after October 2026, treat the table as a starting point and check the seller portal for your country before you commit budget or content.

Whichever side you're on, Collabios connects you: brands hire verified creators, creators get paid per collaboration.

FAQ

Is TikTok Shop available in France?

Yes. TikTok Shop launched in France on 31 March 2025, alongside Germany and Italy. As of October 2026 the French seller portal (seller.tiktok.com/fr) is open to individual sellers, auto-entrepreneurs and companies, and the French creator affiliate programme is open to creators aged 18 or over with more than 500 followers who pass TikTok’s account risk evaluation.

How do I become a TikTok Shop affiliate in France?

Apply through TikTok’s French creator page (business.tiktokshop.com/fr/creator) or inside the TikTok app. The requirements listed in October 2026 are: respect the Community Guidelines, be at least 18, have more than 500 followers and pass the account risk evaluation. New creators start in a Pilot Programme with temporary weekly limits on shoppable videos and LIVEs, which lift as the account grows. Commission videos must carry « Publicité » or « Collaboration commerciale » under Loi 2023-451.

Which European countries have TikTok Shop in 2026?

As of October 2026, TikTok Shop has confirmed launches in ten European markets: the UK (2021), Spain and Ireland (end of 2024), France, Germany and Italy (31 March 2025), and Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland (15 June 2026). TikTok’s seller FAQ also says sellers registered in eight EU countries can sell across 13 European countries, without naming all 13.

What commission does TikTok Shop charge sellers in Europe?

Per Ecommerce News Europe, the standard seller commission has been 9% in the UK since 2 September 2024 and 9% in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland since 8 January 2026, with 7% in some sub-categories such as electronics and 4% for up to 60 days for new sellers. Rates for Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland were not published in the sources checked. The affiliate commission you pay creators comes on top. Always confirm current rates in Seller Center.

What is the difference between open and target collaboration on TikTok Shop?

Open collaboration lets every eligible affiliate creator find and promote your product at a commission you set in advance; you can still restrict it to approved creators. Target collaboration means you invite specific creators and set a custom commission per creator or campaign. In both cases the seller pays commission only when a sale is made. Shopify reports that commission can be set between 1% and 80%.

Do I need a TikTok Shop agency?

Not for affiliate recruitment alone. If you sell a few products in one or two markets, you can recruit affiliates yourself in Seller Center through open and target collaborations. A TikTok Shop agency, often a member of TikTok’s official Partner programme, is worth considering when you need LIVE shopping, ads and shop operations across several countries. Ask whether the fee is a retainer, a share of GMV or both, and who keeps the creator relationships afterwards.

Does Collabios connect to TikTok Shop?

No. Collabios is a creator marketplace, not a TikTok Shop integration. Brands from any country book creators in 26 European countries at the price on their profile, paying a 10% service fee on top, and the payment is held until the brand approves the delivery. Creators pay a flat 15% fee and keep 85%. Sellers who want a TikTok Shop commission on top set it up separately in Seller Center. Pre-hire messaging is coming soon; today you chat with the creator inside the order after booking.

Do TikTok Shop affiliate videos need an ad label?

Treat them as ads. In France, Loi 2023-451 requires « Publicité » or « Collaboration commerciale » on commercial influence done for consideration, and a sales commission is consideration. In the UK, the ASA says affiliate posts must be identifiable as advertising upfront, for example with “Ad”, and that “affiliate” alone is not clear enough. Other EU countries have their own wording.
