CPC (Cost per Click)

The cost paid per click on a tracked link in a creator post — a conversion-focused pricing metric.

CPC matters when the campaign objective is traffic, leads, or sales rather than awareness. A creator post with a trackable link (UTM tags or a unique landing page) that generates 800 clicks on a €1,200 fee has an effective CPC of €1.50.

Influencer CPC is typically more expensive than paid social CPC on the same platform — but the click quality is usually much higher because the audience trusts the creator. Brands optimising for CPC alone often miss this difference and underweight influencer spend.
